Upon arrival at Cape Town International airport off flight EK 778 from Dubai clear customs and immigration and proceed to the main arrivals hall.

Meet with your driver who will hand over your travel documents and assist you with your transfer to your hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in.

Day 2

You will be met at your hotel by your driver-guide for a Private Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour.

Travel at a pace that allows you to explore the beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Depart for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve along one of South Africa’s most scenic routes, passing through Hout Bay.

Enjoy a cruise to Seal Island, to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island (weather permitting). During summer, several thousand Cape Fur Seals – along with the rare Black Cormorant – lollop leisurely among the kelp beds. Tours depart at 08h45, 09h45, 11h00, 12h45, 14h45 or 15h45.

Travel along Chapman’s Peak Drive (conditions permitting). Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Indigenous fauna and flora are conserved in this priceless wilderness area. The scenery en route to Cape Point, at the South Western tip of the reserve, is particularly lovely in spring when wildflowers carpet the landscape. The new lighthouse – the most powerful in the world – beams an electric light of 19 million candle power across the ocean. Ascend to the top by Funicular.

Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Then drive through the historic naval base town of Simon’s Town.

End the day with a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (time permitting / optional cost). The newly completed Treetop Canopy Walkway gives visitors the opportunity to experience the forest from high above the ground. The galvanised steel structure meanders through trees and branches, with sections that crown above the forest.

Return to your hotel and enjoy the balance of your day at leisure.

Cape Town City Tour.
Ascend Table Mountain for unforgettable sweeping views (weather permitting).

Return to the city passing through the Malay Quarter. Drive past the Castle, Houses of Parliament and the Company Gardens. Travel to Sea Point and Camp's Bay for scenic ocean vistas.

Visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront (time permitting).

Visit the Two Oceans Aquarium.

Enjoy a walk through the aquarium, which showcases more than 3000 marine creatures. Interactive displays entertain and educate young and old alike.

Transfer to Knysna (5-6 hours by road)

The town is built on the banks of the Knysna Lagoon, a National Lake Area that falls under the protection of South African National Parks, is a home to more than 200 species of fish – including the rare Knysna seahorse – and is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Embark on a ferry trip aboard the pleasure boat, the John Benn (weather permitting).

The John Benn is a double-decker floating restaurant offering daily Lagoon cruises to the Knysna Heads. A memorable family activity on Knysna Lagoon. Cruise to the Knysna Heads, on a boat steeped in history, named after a legendary pilot of a bygone era.

Visit the Cango Caves, internationally renowned as one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculpted by nature through the ages. Their fascinating limestone formation occurs in a variety of ways.

Continue on to the Safari Ostrich Ranch and come face to face with the biggest bird in the world.

Finally, end your day at the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Over 300 crocodiles, ranging from 50 cm to four meters in length, inhabit the ranch

Monkeyland is the world’s first free roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary. On these safaris you can expect to see many species of primates ranging from the Gibbons of Asia and Howlers from South America to the Lemurs of Madagascar. All our primates live in a natural environment.

Enjoy a visit to the Tsitsikamma National Park.

The Tsitsikamma National Park is situated at the heart of the picturesque Garden Route. Tsitsikamma is a Khoisan word meaning, “place of much water". In 1964 when it was proclaimed, it became the first Marine National Park in Africa and today the Park incorporates 80 km (50 miles) of rocky coastline with spectacular sea and landscapes. The Tsitsikamma’s spectacular scenery includes the Indian Ocean breakers, pounding rocky shores beneath 180 m high cliffs, ever-green forests and fynbos rolling down to the sea.
